MuscleUp collects minimal data necessary for the service:

• Email address for authentication
• Workout data (muscle groups trained, timestamps)
• Body measurements (optional, user-provided)

Data Storage

Data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted in the EU (Hetzner, Germany). Authentication emails are sent from our own self-hosted mail server on the same infrastructure. We use strict access control to ensure data isolation between users.

Third-Party Services

• Hetzner (hosting, database & email — EU, Germany)
• Cloudflare (DNS, CDN & DDoS protection)
• Anthropic (AI — supplement label scanning)

Application errors are captured by our own self-hosted monitoring; we do not use a third-party error-tracking provider.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your data by contacting [email protected].
